I happen to like the RPG aspects of strategy games.  I enjoy replaying again and again as different characters.  I like "being" the evil guy or the good guy or the merchant or what-have-you.  I also liked being somewhat of a griefer back in the day playing D&D.  I was the guy that did the unexpected to see how the DM would handle it.

In GalCiv if you made a truce and then wanted to break it all you had to do was attack an opponent.  I put off the other kingdoms with truces until I had my army big enough but then I was ready and couldn't go back on them.  Grr!

Is there a way to break a truce?

Sadly, I decided to get the alliance victory just to get the game over with.

In another thread the question came up asking if all fonts in a desktop theme could be changed.

I suggested that another object could be created that could run through all teh existing objects and use the Object.SetFont to apply the font the user wanted.

Is that possible?

A Deskscapes beta has been released.  This build has more effects that can be applied, and works on XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

Wallpapers have been added for Vista and Win7 users.  You can apply effects to them just like to dreams.

Different background types can be filtered out using the check-boxes above the background list.

It's a nice animated icon but it's just an animation.
